Masha Esipova
Masha Esipova (any pronouns) is a Lecturer (tenure-track) at Bar-Ilan University, working on semantics and its interfaces. Their current and recent research topics include: speech acts at the interfaces; expressive meaning; various aspects of the at-issue vs. not-at-issue distinction; the syntax–semantics–pragmatics of event and situation descriptions; and meaning–form mappings beyond language. In their spare time, they enjoy lifting heavy objects, climbing short walls, and being bad at chess. They hold a PhD in Linguistics from New York University.
