Poetry is a Knife. Not a means to an end and not a thing in itself. While we cut through reality to get to its deepest truths, we often find ourselves instrumentalizing our most natural talent: language. In this workshop we will explore the ways to twist our tongues (and sometimes, knives) with multilingual writing and the art of translation, as well as extend our gift of speech to those whose attempts at communication are lost on us humans: the non-human and ourselves, the medicalized bodies.
